Missouri Senate Bill 650 (SB650)

Thank you to our Senators for listening!  There is a bill that was introduced in the Senate January 6, 2010 - Introduced by Senator Rita Heard-Days.  This bill is very important to not only the brachial plexus community, but also to the many families of the future that will be affected by this injury!

To view this bill, click here.

This bill would mean that a family with a child that has a brachial plexus injury at birth will leave the hospital with information about the injury,  specialists to see, and support groups.  Parents with infants that have brachial plexus injuries will no longer be left in the dark feeling hopeless, confused and alone!!

If you are a Missouri resident, please take a few moments and email your Senator and let them know what Senate Bill 650 means to you!  You can find your local Senator by visiting http://www.senate.mo.gov/ and entering your full 9-digit zip code.  If you are not a Missouri resident, forward the proposed bill to your local Senators and maybe they will draft a bill in your area!

Together, we can make a difference!!!!!
